'script by Michael Dufty, heavily based on Joebocop's waypoint script So far I have a working script which will export selected points in a drawing to a waypoint file and name them from a column called "waypoint"Ĭurrently it throws an error if there is no waypoint column, I'd prefer it to just skip the names, anyone know the best way to do that? ie check the column exists without getting an error.Įventually it would be nice to expand it to export lines or polygons as tracks as well, but this is currently working and I need to work on other things so I'll leave it here for others to use and hopefully improve on. Joebocop has done a lot of it already in his waypoint export script. OK, I have had a go and it looks like it should be pretty easy. Much Thanks and thanks for your patience.Lapprentis gpx when save (or exported) from my Garmin GPS. Chris, what do you mean by: tag to meet that condition> ? the file extension (if it is what you mean), is already. Any clues so that I finally succeed in importing my waypoints and tracks from the 62s to Manifold ? Much Thanks. Also, can TBFTools handles GPSMap 62s GPX files directly or should I used an intermediate (DNR-Garmin or GPS-Babel) software to prepare my GPX files to Manifold (TBF-Tools) ? The only way I found to use the TBFTools was to drag the copied out from the Garmin files and drag it into the opened TBFTools empty windows, but nothing happened. If I do understand it correctly, the process of using TBFTools correcly do not involve using Manifold GPS Console, is it the case ?. When I do open the TBFTools, I see a blank window appear. We already lost the SQL QueryBuilder that way and one wouldn't want to be too dependent.ĭo you really want to ruin economy only to save the planet?Ĭhris, Klaus, or any other GPS-Manifold Wizard, with your help, I was able to installed corectly the TBFTool and Export-to-GPS Add-ins, I now can see it in Manifold. The danger would be a synchronization of updates to the next major build. The programmers community could benefit from such open access. I guess I'll have to follow your good example and add a public entry to copy(), load() and save() Format Libraries with the next version of the Format Organizer. ![]() So the main task ist a programming style that publishes the key functions with all necessary parameters. The ony problems I see so far is documentation - not a real problem here - and a fixed position of the dll in the filesystem - not a problem if the xml configuration file for the original Add-In is not edited. And all the data structures are public too. ![]() Adding a link from my Visual Studio project to your GPXReader.dll I can see a public GPXLoader(String) function in C# or the GPXLoader.New(String) methode in VB. Thank you for this.įor my purpose I would need an option to import trackpoints and waypoints with attributes, especially with timestamps.Īnd as I would like to use the Import functions in that Add-In from inside of another Add-In programmatically I'm puzzling over possible problems of a public function in one Add-In used from another Add-In. And it handels multiple tracks in a GPX file correctly. Works flawless with GPX version 1.1 files and GXPbabel could be used to convert each and every gpx file to this version.
